About ready to hit the road... my friend Max traveled with us and lent a hand with the show...

The ol'e Yota is gettin' a few miles on it! I highly recommend one of these for bands by the way... look into the stats for reliability, not to mention towing capabilities. Combine that with 4 wheel drive, fuel economy about the same as your average minivan, and the quality of the ride (like... it's nice and quiet) and the standard band vehicle (Ford Econoline anyone?) starts looking pretty stupid.

One Step Beyond radio personality Jeremiah Wade.

Me, going crazy in the WGCS studios! I love radio... and Jeremiah does one of those really cool old fashioned music programs... reminds me of Wolfman Jack.

Getting ready for the show... My big ole' budget light show... we decided it was a bit much.

This was Anna, along with my wife Amber. Anna is 8 years old, and kept us very entertained! Her mom works at the Beanery and she seemed to know everyone and helped us make a lot of new friends!

I am thinking...

I was flying solo on this evening, so I had to run DG's usual post as well as my usual duties. It kept things fun!

These photos are from my gig in Albion, IN... This is Jeremy from Apollos Mad. You definitely should keep and eye on these guys. They have a very original sound, are loaded with real talent, and put on a great show!

Noah from Apollos Mad. The only guest musician who played on my debut album. This guy is a fantastic bass player, and isn't even allowed to drive a car yet!!! Noah has the potential to be a legend if he chooses it.

The singer from ThaTcheT in the background. The guys from ThaTcheT where very supportive, they definitely helped shift the mood for the evening. Albion has been hit with H1N1, and so the concert was poorly attended. These guys really helped save the night, I appreciate it!

So... I went on the road to visit my old artist community in Virginia. While I was there I did a gig on the campus of UVA... unfortunately the only photos taken were during sound check. I thought they were pretty artistic though, so I included some for you anyways.

My sis DG couldn't come on the road for a week, so my friend Kimberly (formerly of JRL) gave me a hand.
